When I received this dress, I was really happy with the workmanship and details. The lace was not exactly like the picture on the website, but it is very pretty. The beading and details are exquisite.
There were a few things that disappointed me, especially the fact that the threads used to apply the lace and beading were left untrimmed, so now I will have to go over the dress and trim quite a few threads, some of which just go from lace piece to lace piece and others are loose and trailing.
Also, the neck was not as low as the dress pictured, so I must decided if I want to pay the money to have it altered and corrected or leave as is. There is also an extra layer of tulle between the lace overlay and the satin dress, which I don't like and is not as the original, so I am going to have that removed by a tailor.
Overall, for what I paid for this dress, it is of excellent quality and workmanship, and I could not have gotten anything this nice if I had gone to a local bridal salon (even that chain store, whose prices are twice what I paid for this dress). It was exactly the color and style that I wanted, and fits perfectly. This is a great value for the money, despite the small things that I did not like about the finishing. I would recommend that any buyer is clear in telling Milly Bridal about how low she would like the neckline to be (via measurements). I would highly recommend Milly Bridal to any bride or woman who, like me, is renewing her vows. (Posted on 1/25/12)
