- Bust - Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
- Waist
- Waist- This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`s an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline.
- Hips
- Hips- This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
- Hollow to Hem
- Hollow to Hem- This is the length from your hollow ( the hollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.

I want soooo much to purchase this dress but would like to know 1) how true the size guide it, 2) if i would need to purchase a peacoat for underneith to keep the fullness of the dress and 3) how true the colors are to what is shown online... service price value quality I tried on the original a few months ago- and decided to order this dress on a whim knowing that it may not be the exact dress, but hoping it would be very similar. I recieved it in the mail- custom made to my measurements only 10 days after I ordered it! It was beautiful- I will send pictures if you would like me to. I brought it to the tailor and she did inform me that it is not real silk organza, seams are more noticable than I would've liked, and the top has more beading than lace and more pointed than sweethart. This is in comparisson to the $4300 price tag on the POB dress. The dress fit like a glove- I ordered it a little long just to be on the safe side. This dress looked so much nicer than I expected and really just has a few differences that are minor and can easily be changed if you are focused on the details of the original dress. service price value quality Hi All, I got my dress a few weeks ago but only getting round to posting my review now - sorry! So the dress is so well made really good. I got it made to custom measurements and it fits really well - I need to get about an inch and a half taken off at the hips though. I'm not sure if that's an error in the making of the dress or down to the fact that I've starting going to the gym. Either way, it's really a small alteration. The other thing that I was worried about is the gather that is in the chiffon just on the inside on the left hip. Mine didn't look quite right so I'm just making that a little bit tighter and then I'm happy :) Seriously though, definitely worth taking the risk and buying on line! (Posted on 6/23/11)
